Shades of Grey
Amongst the darkness
She sets her sails
The seas are rough
The wind gusts
Rain pours hard
Beating her down
The storm increases
Waves crashing and thrashing
Wind whipping and tearing
Water gushing and drowning
Just as she began to sink
She heard a voice to make her think
"Find the Light within", they speak
Struggling and drowning
In the abounding dark
Her heart skips a beat
And the light starts to spark
Fire and Flames ignite within
Heart pounding and glowing
Churning and burning
A gasp of breath
A rush of red
Heart's a glow
Water pushing and pulling
Next did she know
Shot into the air
Released from the water's hold
Her heart had healed
It is the bright Light
Now as she flies
Up so high
Her heart is a beacon
A world full of darkness
With a light to shine
And make the sky
